Many catastrophic storm victims find themselves in one of the most difficult situations of their lives after the storm. Many find themselves homeless and totally reliant on their insurance companies. Many victims have reported they have nevertheless been surprised to feel victimized a second time by these companies.

Many reasons can contribute to this. In some cases victims may have been underinsured, they may not have understood their policy or even may have received incorrect information from someone involved in the claims process.

FEMAINFO.US has compiled a significant amount of information to help these victims recover from their loss.

Instead of spending weeks attempting to research obscure information, victims now have a source for information they can use to better understand the catastrophic insurance claims process. They can also learn what steps other victims have taken when they believed the claims process failed.

At this time, many Hurricane Isabel victims remain trapped in campers, nearly two years after the storm. They have yet to receive the compensation they are entitled to and cannot afford to repair their homes. If they had access to this information at the time of their loss they likely could have faired better.
